MAWS is an advanced, next-generation continuous flow method developed to reduce water's TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) in cooling tower basins and drip irrigation systems. The art of FCDI (Flow-Cell Capacitive De-Ionization) has gained attention due to its inherent low energy requirements.
The MAWS process uses the extraction of positive and negative ions, an innovative approach that combines Flow-Induced Capacitive Deionization (FCDI) coupled with filtration and active carbon slurries. MAWS is self-cleaning, eliminates the need for chemicals, and uses Ion extraction at low pressure of less than 10 PSI. Our unique patented cylindrical cell architecture design has been exhaustively benchmarked against basic flat plate CDI designs and early FCDI flat plate grooved electrode designs. Operational parameters and results clearly indicate a significant leap forward in CDI competition. This TDS process ensures maximum water recoveries coupled with high ion removal efficiency. This process can also be utilized to extract specific particles within the water and allows the operator to select the level of PPM desired.
